   Absolutely loved the food at The Chart House in Newport, KY. All six of us in our party were pleased with their meals. The waiter even went out of his way to satisfy a dessert selection for one of the folks in our party....very nice! My only comments were that we didn't realize there was a special Easter Sunday menu vs. the regular menu published online. Hence, one of our guests found selecting their entre a real problem. Sure wish somehow we would have known this at the time of our reservation. And lastly, holidays are busy and Easter Sunday around 5 pm is no exception. But, it was very noisy and we all had a problem hearing our waiter simply trying to share with our group the wine list, menu options, etc. But the food was the star of the evening, so we will be back.

   The Easter menu had a set of 10 excellent entree courses. The surf and turf, seafood pasta, and halibut dishes were delicious in addition to the starters and dessert. Our service was excellent and the staff was as friendly as ever! We had an enjoyable holiday dinner!

   We were a party of 6 adults for Easter. Our server was Ayla and she was excellent. Very attentive. We were seated right away. We were impressed with the selection in the pre-set menu. Nice view of the river. We never felt rushed. Our food was good especially the lobster bisque. Our party ordered: prime rib (one request was very rare and arrived just as requested), NY strip (one of these was pretty charred but otherwise ok), lobster tails and shrimp & lobster carbonara. The prime rib slices were very thin. The carbonara portion was very small. For dessert we ordered with cheesecake or lava cake. The lava cake was not good (no lava in the middle! Just a small Bundt cake).

   Our food on Easter did not disappoint. We had never been to Chart House before but we will definitely be back and soon.

   The windows near us had hand prints. The manager said they are cleaned every two days. These windows were dirty at Christmas also. I do not believe his statement. It was a specials occasion, birthday, so what. Nothing special and no recognition Who cares. Don’t ask when you come in. No thanks when you leave.. The server exceeded expectations, but management needs training on arriving and departing. And don’t tell me those windows are cleaned every two days two days. Go get a rag when I mentioned it and clean it

   Our Easter Brunch at Chart House was lovely. Food, presentation, service were elevated with excellence.

   Major birthday dinner celebration with a party of 10 which the staff pulled off flawlessly. Shout out to Tracy our server and manager Byron for a wonderful evening and exceptional service. Would highly recommend. Excellent happy hour too

   Always exceptional food, service, and the attention to all my needs when I and my friends dine here. Lauren was our server, and she had been my server in the past...always attentive to any requests, very pleasant, polite, and respectful. We were celebrating my dear friend's birthday and Lauren, the manager, and staff insured there was a special dessert prepared for her complete with a candle! We were never rushed to leave and the on-duty manager, Amanda, insured that our dining was the best experience, (Like always...did I cite that already? And it is true!!). I have dined at this Newport, Ky. Chart House for years and have never, ever, been disappointed. Perhaps you could create a star chart that may a hundred "OUTSTANDING" option.

    We enjoyed our experience. All of the staff was very polite and attentive. It was a nice view. The food was interesting- it was either perfect and we all loved it or no one at the table really liked it.
