   Excited for a southern/Cajun food restaurant in the area. Food was great with huge portions. The dining room is pretty basic but at least there is a dine in option. I just wish they had a liquor license to serve hurricanes to go with the Cajun pasta.

   Eat of southern cuisine. When you walk in, the place looks average and somewhat low budget. But the service, consideration and attention to detail was top-notch. Couple of my buddies, and I like some good old fashion, ribs, chicken, colic, greens, and all yes, okra, and that’s where we went. When I go back? Absolutely!

   My husband and I saw this on OpenTable and decided to give it a try. It is definitely a new place trying to find their footing. The staff was very friendly. They appeared to be trying to get a new sign installed outside, which is a good idea because the current one is hard to read, especially at night. I ordered a catfish with corn bread and loaded mashed potatoes. The catfish fillets were huge and so hot, I couldn’t eat them for several minutes. The mashed potatoes were great but I would probably skip the corn muffins in the future. I prefer dense, heavy cornbread cut in squares over super light muffins like these. On a recommendation from the chef/waitress, my husband got the rib tips which she said were “meaty “. She was right! He also got the mac & cheese and the collard greens. The mac & cheese was our favorite side. We are looking forward to coming back and trying some of the other dishes and sides, as we had a hard time picking. We didn’t try any, but then dessert portions were made for two. Please support a new local business and give this place I try. As the chef said, every dish is made with love. Tip: tips are cash only.

   The staff was very friendly and made sure everything was going well. We had the fried chicken dinner, and it was very good. The breading was perfect, and the fried chicken was juicy. The potato salad was very good also. One person in our group had the BLT and said it was excellent. The sourdough bread was done just right and had the right amount of butter flavor on the bread. I would recommend giving this place a try.
