   We took my daughter here for her birthday and it did not disappoint. This is our favorite restaurant for celebrating. The food is always excellent and the service is old fashioned great! Bill was very attentive and the food came out fast! Cant wait to go back.

   We visited for my wife's birthday, and the entire Charley's staff made our time with them memorable and fun. We both enjoyed fantastic cuts of steak, sides, and a special birthday dessert. I would absolutely recommend this establishment for anyone looking to make an occasion that much more special.

   This was our first time @ Charley's. It was superior. We had the surf & turf for 2 with the larger lobster tail and the porterhouse. Everything we ate or drank was excellent (Charley's martini, smoked old fashion, our entree, the cauliflower side, and the key lime pie). Michael, our server, was deft and well seasoned. He took care of our every need.

   I’ve always loved Charley’s, but service this last time was terrible. We had Hollie as a server, she was not very nice, seemed bothered when we would ask for certain things, was loud, wasn’t on top of keeping our drinks refilled, our sides came out when some of us were half way done with our steak; her attitude just wasn’t very pleasant or welcoming. Not the kind of service you would expect at a steakhouse like Charley’s. Very disappointed. The food was good but not worth the price. I typically like going to Charley’s not just because of the food but because I typically get great service which was not the case this time. Our bill was over $1000 for 8 people so a nice server would’ve been nice.

   Charlie’s is our go to place for dry aged ribeye! Paired with the lobster mac and cheese and some delicious lamb chops, it’s perfection, every time!

   Arguably the best, certainly one of the best steak houses in Tampa. It was my son’s birthday and the staff went above and beyond to make it special. We will see you again and will be counting the days.

    From the moment we walked in, Charley’s delivered an elevated dining experience that was nothing short of exceptional. The ambiance was classic and inviting, perfect for a special evening out. Everytime we come to Charley’s it solidifies why it is our favorite restaurant in Tampa! We ordered the filet and ribeye, both cooked to absolute perfection—juicy, tender, and rich with flavor. The sides were just as memorable. The lobster mac and cheese was decadently creamy with a perfect crispy top, and the loaded mashed potatoes with bacon and creamed corn were next-level indulgent. Every bite was a reminder of why Charley’s has such a stellar reputation. And the Butter Cake desert WAS AMAZING! But what truly made the night unforgettable was the incredible service from our waiters, James and Willie. Their attentiveness, recommendations, and warm personalities elevated our entire experience. They made us feel genuinely cared for—not just customers, but valued guests. And just when we thought the night couldn’t get better, James went above and beyond. After we had already left the restaurant, he tracked us down outside to return a pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses my boyfriend had accidentally left on the table. We hadn’t even noticed they were missing yet—his thoughtfulness and integrity were truly heartwarming and incredibly appreciated. Charley’s in Tampa isn’t just a steakhouse—it’s an experience. Between the amazing food and the phenomenal staff, we’ll absolutely be back. Shoutout again to James and Willie—you both made our night!
