   The quality was out of the ballpark. Excellent service and delivery of our 5 course meal. Will need to go again in the near future.

   The two of us who ate the expensive Wagyu steak became violently ill. Otherwise everything was fine.

   I took my son here for a mommy/son date while we were visiting Springfield. I put that on my reservation and they did a great job. The waiter was amazing and very helpful with suggestions. The atmosphere was nice. We had a great time and would come again if we come back.

   The only thing I can complain about is the price of a drink. $19.50 is way out of line for an Old Fashioned with Woodford.

   Normally me and my significant other are huge fans of Char. Unfortunately, we went about a month ago for date night and were greeted with nothing but disappointment. It was not terribly busy, yet our food took longer than usual to come out. My significant other ordered the sea bass took the first bite and it was ice cold. Myself ordering my go to with the delmonico ribeye, ordered medium rare and it came out gray, cold and flavorless. We expressed our total dissatisfaction with our waiter, although not his fault. He did ask if we wanted anything remade but at that point we had already been there for about an hour and were just ready to go. We sadly don't know if we will be back.

   Wonderful bone-in fillet! Hayley made sure everything was the best. We had Eagle Rock and Blue Point oysters.....perfectly shucked, and the horseradish is everything you could wish for. Only wish I had room for the S'mores Brulee!

   Our waiter was awesome but food delivery and service was slow. We were the last table to leave for the night. I ordered my steak medium however it was overcooked as were others at our table. Our sides were amazing. The atmosphere was awesome and I will give it another try.

    We had the absolute best dining experience at Char celebrating our Anniversary!! I placed reservation on open table and every thing I requested they took note of and fulfilled them all! This is actually the first restaurant that has done this and it was highly appreciated. Thank you so much Char for making it such a memorable night and the food was outstanding!
