   First time experiencing Korean BBQ. We really enjoyed it! Waiter was the only one for the entire restaurant and he was ON POINT. Very helpful and attentive. We will be back to Char!

   We arrived 15 minutes before our reservation to check in, the host was clearly lost. She checked us in and told us to wait at the bar. After 15 minutes we came back to the host and asked if the table was ready. She said it will be a 30-40 minutes wait. Left her our number. Went away for a walk. Came back after 25 minutes. She said it would be another 39-40 minutes. I said we had a reservation which was still showing in the system but she clearly didn’t know how to deal with any of this…. Left our number again. Went to another restaurant to get a drink and ended up eating there. I never received a call or a text to tell me our table was ready. It’s ridiculous. Never seen that before.

   Underwhelmed… Service staff was more interested in their phones than their tables.. signature steak dish which was explained as to be served medium rare was dry and over cooked. The Brussels sprouts were a highlight but if you are going to garnish with a kimchi rice seasoning please note that it contains shellfish on the menu.

   The food was fresh and delicious! The staff was very helpful and kind. We loved the atmosphere and the music was the best!

   I went here a few years ago and food and service were great. I went today and the quality has definitely gone down. Food was good but nothing special. Our server was so nice but he took forever with bringing our drinks and some of our food. We ended up just ordering some of it to go because we had waited so long and needed to go. Lots of places around here so it’s a good area but I’d say skip this place and try a different spot in the area.

    This is a great secluded gem in the Edgewood Inman Park (near Krog St) area and the staff are the life of the party. I absolutely loved AJ (ladies, the drinks…. Drinking!!!!)
