About this restaurant

Opening its doors to hungry neighbours back in 2015, Chai Street in Canton has a special place in our heart as our first permanent home in Cardiff. With its poster covered walls, its leafy garden and its street festival lighting, this colourful street food shelter felt right at home in this quirky Cardiff suburb. Chai Street in Canton is also a stone’s throw from the city’s artistic hub with Chapter Arts Centre, The Bone Yard and Printhaus all just round the corner.

    Very disappointing. Was expecting something special but food was below average, lacked flavour and finesse. Friendly service, if a little slow!
