   Excellent service! The food was fantastic and we were recognized kindly and with style for our celebration dinner. Food was incredible!

   A few things made the experience very negative: 1. when we made our reservation we were not told that the menu would not be available, only a thanksgiving prix fixe. We had read the food was great and had been looking forward to dining there for years. 2.The line cook was smoking in the kitchen! It smelled like marijuana. Unacceptable! Health and safety violations. 3. Friends of the line cook came in wearing pajamas, dirty sweats, & slippers. One man rubbed his genitalia on the line cook and kissed him. Unacceptable. They were boisterous, smelled like marijuana, and were given free plates of food that we just paid full price for. They argued on phone calls at the table right behind us. Horrifyingly bad manners. 4. The second thing we were looking forward to was enjoying the courtyard. The restaurant had failed to clean and organize from the days prior and did not even have the lights on. We asked for the lights to be turned on which they did. Positives: The food was tasty, especially the herbed dressing and moist turkey - thank you chef. The ambience of the antique furniture and photographs was charming. Holland Hotel: Our junior suite was comfortable in general, but the sofa bed is really not usable. would not stay there again, but would give the restaurant another try.

   Wonderful staff!! Food is always amazing!! No matter what’s on the menu you will enjoy it!!

   We arrived about 20 minutes before our reservation to have a cocktail (6:45) Bartender stated they were out of 2 of the 3 entrees. We decided to be seated early and they were out of all 3 of the entrees. Waitress informed us we could get a chicken leg wrapped in a banana leaf! NO THANK YOU. POOR SERVICE, POOR PLANNING. They were not busy at all. only 3 tables besides ours. If you have 3 entrees, how do you run out??? It's a restaurant, have extra because if you run out and turn people away, they won't be back!!! We had our cocktail and packed up and went to the Reata! THEY HAD FOOD AND LOTS OF ENTREES to choose from.

   Historic hotel well worth visiting. Bar ambience and restaurant food were very good.

   My experience was good, I had a reservation. I heard them turn away multiple parties because they were "running out of food", this was before 8pm on a Saturday night. Indeed, I was refused service the previous evening for the same reason.

   We enjoy coming here because ir is quiet, the staff are very friendly, and it is a special place.

   The food and service were very good. This is a special place that we would eat again, especially for special occasions. The drinks were tasty, and the staff seemed to really care that guests were takne care of.
