   Fantastic gem of a restaurant on Mackinac Island! Be sure to have the planked Whitefish - you won’t be disappointed! And you definitely need to have the pecan ball for dessert! My husband ate over half of the one we shared, and he doesn’t like desserts!

   The planked whitefish was recommended and was absolutely delicious! Would recommend it to all! Waitress was very friendly and made our dining experience lovely.

   Best planked whitefish in town! Great location, right off main street on Mackinac Island. Our server was exceptional this visit- incredibly friendly and attentive.

   For years we have always gone to the Village Inn when on Mackinac Island. I almost always order the Planked White Fish as I did this time. It was great as always.

   So glad that the Village Inn is back! The planked whitefish is amazing and the duchess potatoes are to die for! Less potatoes than before, but instead of piping them around the entire plate (which was way too many to eat), you now get 4 or 5 dollops, which is plenty.

   Wanted to eat some local fish - they have great planked whitefish I'd highly recommend. Sit outside (inside was a bit dark for me). Located on side street, nice to watch life pass by. Nice way to sample local food and prices were reasonable too.
