Cavallario's Steak & Seafood is a seasonal upscale eatery. Due to its location, this restaurant is only open for the warmer months of the year due to the cold New York winters and the lack of travelers that come through Alexandria Bay. However, when Cavallario's is open it is one of the most popular dining destinations around thanks to its incredible menu and beautiful dining areas.Cavallario's menu starts with appetizers like steamed littleneck clams, bacon wrapped scallops, escargot in garlic butter, yellowfin tuna and crispy fried cheese curds served with a house-made remoulade. As the name implies, guests here have their choice between steak and seafood specialty plates for dinner. Some of the signature steaks available include an 8 oz. filet mignon, 14 oz. ribeye and the steak Maison that is topped with crab meat, mushrooms and a bearnaise sauce.
