We enjoy being waited on by students--so eager to please. But the food was very disappointing. The duck breast was VERY TOUGH and salty and the soup was also very salty. We told someone who seemed to be a manager and he said he would discuss it with the chef; we never saw or heard from him again. We have had much better meals at American Bounty and Bocuse.

The food was delicious and there was enough variety in menu to satisfy everyone in the group. Head waiter was knowledgeable. Service was a bit disjointed but it is important to remember that these are students learning the front of the house business. The cocktail service was fun as a specialty drink was prepared in front of us (not all of them though). Timing of the dinner was a bit off. Second round of drinks ordered was ultimately cancelled due to lengthy delay. Desserts were also served quite a bit later than the coffee. Since the food was the star of the night we would definitely return for another dinner. This Catherina de Medici room is decorated with great attention to detail and served as a lovely backdrop to the menu.

Sweet potato gnocchi and lamb agnolotti meals were both excellent as were the appetizers and desserts. Highly recommend!

Part of the fun is that the "employees" are all students learning. Still, we were surprised how uneven and amateurish the service was, including a very long wait for the check. The food was better. Some items were great, especially the appetizers; others were pretty average.
