   This is a beautiful space with a nice ambiance. Unfortunately, the food is not great. Some of the small dishes were good, but overall we were disappointed with the meal. The larger dishes were just on, and one pork dish came out almost completely raw, but for some searing on the edges. The squid and fish were mediocre, and the meal was very expensive for the amount and quality of food. It was especially frustrating to pay $30 for the basic bread and tomato dish and $9 for aioli. We have spent a lot of time in Barcelona and have eaten a lot of Spanish and Catalan food, and this was not on par with the good food that we have had, both in Spain and the US. Overall not worth the price.

   The Pa amb Tomaquet was the list disappointing. Your basically rubbing a cherry tomato on toast. The versions at Jaleo and Boqueria are much better. The other dishes were fair but I’ve had better versions of them in DC too. The cocktail didn’t taste very good either. It wasn’t a bad meal, except for the Pa. But I wouldn’t recommend it.

   Food was delicious, service was incredible and special care was taken to ensure that a member of our party who had food allergies was accommodated. When one of the dishes that came out with the meal was not up to standards the kitchen went out of their way to make up for it. I would highly recommend visiting if you’re in the DC area.

   I very much enjoyed the food! The service was fabulous, friendly and helpful! Definitely worth a try for someone wanting to try some Spanish food and drink!

    Nice break from traditional Spanish tapas restaurant. Need to work a few kinks out wrt service and FOH but overall a pleasant experience. I’d come back again in a few months.
