   Lovely restaurant, food was awesome, service was top notch! Live music to enhance the experience. Worth to try, and easy to get to. we’ll be back next time we’re in SJD.

   This is the San Jose version of the Cabo San Lucas location. It is in a beautiful courtyard with a great atmosphere. The food and the service are fantastic. The menu is the same at both locations. We loved the butternut squash with shrimp soup, the linguine with habanero, seafood chili rellenos, and the tuna tartar appetizer! They have a wonderful drink menu with many creative drinks. The banana chimichanga for dessert is not to be missed! This location is easier to get to than the San Lucas location and has only been open a short time. I would highly recommend this restaurant and will go back!

   This is a hidden gem. Food was outstanding and service exceptional. There was music when we went and it was pleasant and added to the relaxed ambience. Really enjoyed our night here.

   All four of us enjoyed our dinner at Casa Martin in San Jose very much. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. There were a number of appealing choices on the menu. We found the prices to be reasonable compared to other quality restaurants in San Jose. The ambience of the restaurant was very pleasing as well. It is situated in a pretty courtyard very close to the main church and Square. We were entertained by a singer and enjoyed quality service as well. All four of us would recommend this restaurant. Thank you very much for a wonderful evening.

   Our server was Francisco and he had two young men as his help. Service was very good but we were encouraged even by them to review our disappointing dinner experience. I had the chile relleno which was supposed to be stuffed with crab, shrimp, lobster, scallop, wild rice and vegetables. What it actually was filled with was mostly vegetables and white rice with very little sea food so disappointing and overpriced. My companion had the braised short rib pappardelle which was presented with the pasta on one side of the bowl, meat on the other. It wasn’t as though they put the sauce over the noodles to moisten them and add flavor. Very different presentation and not ideal. I had some nice French Burgundy by the glass at a very reasonable price. We had music by a man singing in Spanish, English and French for nice mellow accompaniment. The seating was outdoor and ambiance warm and welcoming but the food could use some tweaking.

   Outstanding in every way. We had beet salad that was amazing. All 5 entrees were excellent. So much easier to get to San Jose rather than drive to Cabo. Highly recommend!

   We wanted to try something different and saw how well reviewed this place was. The food was very interesting and tasty. The servers were very nice and atmosphere was pretty cool. I’m happy that we decided to give it a shot. Photos posted.

   We dine early so the cafe was empty for the first hour and a little chilly. The wind had come up. The ravioli starter was delicious, the homemade noodles with the short ribs very tasty and the meat tender. Service was ever ready yet subtle.

    To start the bread was delicious. The sliced sashimi was fresh but could used more flavour. My fish was just OK and my wife’s pasta had too many of very hard bacon making it hard to enjoy. Overall it was a nice setting with excellent service but with all the other choices I don’t feel we would return.
