The anticipation for this premium Easter brunch, promising a 'fantastic' experience, was sharply contrasted by the profoundly disappointing reality. Our pre-booked reservation was immediately disregarded, subjecting us to a frustrating and lengthy wait before reaching an unprepared table. The subsequent service was practically non-existent; no staff offered any insight into the supposed 'Easter experience' – which was conspicuously absent. No festive decor, no thematic food – just a sterile, overpriced brunch. While the venue had inherent charm, it was marred by overcrowding and overwhelming noise. The visibly strained and ill-informed staff struggled with basic menu inquiries, highlighting a clear lack of preparedness. Adding insult to injury, food and dessert options dwindled prematurely, and the remaining desserts were exceptionally poor. This was not the premium Easter brunch advertised and paid for. It was a poorly executed, overpriced affair that failed to meet even basic expectations of service and ambiance. The significant disparity between the promised experience and the stark reality leaves a strong sense of having been profoundly misled. Consequently, a full refund is the only equitable resolution for this substantial failure to deliver the advertised service.

Didn’t enjoy for the price. Very disorganized for the last seating of the event. You would think it would be running like a well oiled machine by the last showing, everyone was tired, wanting to close up, and eager to be done. No drink service, no checks to see how you were, seated 30 minutes late. Food was ok, at least they tried to keep the buffet area full. Would have been a better experience as a plated meal for that price and they could have turned the tables quicker and stayed on track.

The venue was lovely on a sunny day. We arrived early as it was Easter Sunday, but had to wait 30 mins after our reservation time to be seated. Not enough food was available on the buffet. Then felt rushed out as they were closing, but they did not bring a bill to our table for the extras. They stopped us in the hallway to pay. Glad that we went but I won't book again.

The food was absolutely lovely, the chefs did a great job and the setting in the library was stunning. It made for a special Easter experience. However, the event was very overcrowded and disorganized, which was disappointing. We arrived for a 3:30 pm reservation and were not seated until 4:15 pm - during this time there was no where to relax, no communication about the delay etc. At nearly $100 per person I expected more efficiency from the organizers, this kind of delay just isn’t acceptable for an event of the caliber that Casa Loma is trying to put on. Overall we had an okay experience and wish that the service was as good as the food and the setting.

We were really looking forward to driving into Toronto and having brunch at Casa Loma. Although the food was delicious, the event was poorly organized. The event was oversold and seatings were every 15 minutes which caused chaos. We had a 245 seating we were not seated until 330. This meant that my mother who uses a walker, had to stand for 45 minutes in an overcrowded reception area. Once seated, there were not enough staff to even refill our water. Everything felt rushed and not will be expected from the venue or from the cost of the event.

It’s become a tradition for us to book the Easter Brunch at Casa Loma every year, and it has always been a pleasant experience. However, this year’s visit has made me question whether we should consider another venue next time. My reservation was for 1:15 PM, but I had to wait 45 minutes before being seated. To my surprise, half the dining area was empty, so I couldn’t understand why so many of us were kept waiting. The buffet offered far less variety compared to previous years—especially the dessert section, which was so underwhelming that I ended up just getting fruit. I’m not sure what caused this disorganized experience, but I truly hope it’s not repeated in future events.

We attended the Easter brunch with a friend. Although we arrived on time, we had to wait an additional 45 minutes to be seated, which was unexpected and a bit frustrating. Once seated, it took a very long time to get water, and our drinks were also significantly delayed after ordering. The food itself was tasty, and we appreciated the variety. However, we couldn’t hear the live music from our section, which was disappointing since it was part of the experience we were looking forward to. One particularly odd moment was when the waiter told us to keep our used cutlery for dessert. I asked for clean utensils and was given new ones, but my friend wasn’t. I really don’t understand why guests are expected to use the same cutlery for both the main course and dessert - it felt unhygienic and unprofessional. What made it more confusing is that a 20% gratuity was already included in the bill. With the service being so inconsistent, it’s unclear what exactly we were tipping for. Overall, while the food was enjoyable, the service and organization definitely need improvement.

Unfortunately, it was a less favourable experience. I went there for Easter brunch, the ambiance is beautiful because it’s located in Casa Loma. However, the server was overwhelmed because she had too many tables to attend to, and we had to wait nearly an hour for our beverages. In addition, the food was lukewarm, and the selection was not worth the price because he had to wait for them to restock the items. It did appear as there was enough food for the amount of people. They did have some notable choices that were tasty such as a lobster, ravioli, and beef short ribs. This year they didn’t have a harp player that would’ve been a nice touch. Overall, I will not attend Easter brunch at Casa Loma and I wouldn’t recommend it.

Service is getting worse year by year, food item are mostly good but the service its getting ridiculous bad, we had to wait over 45 minutes for our drinks (mimosas and coffee) the coffee was not even warm, when you started doing this Easter Brunch at least was included in your price, but now you charge extra even for water, the worse part is you made us pre pay $144 tip for service and was far beyond terrible, in top of that on the final bill for drinks you dare to demand at least 18% tip. At least improve your service, food was really good but you can do better, even the lady the Violin/Harp was not hired this year.
