Had dinner out with 3 other couples on Friday night. We’re seated in a semi-private area which was very nice. Loved the variety of items on the menu as well as German specialties. Everyone enjoyed what they had. My only complaint was I ordered the Huhner Schnitzel and it was very overcooked and dried out - could barely cut it with the knife provided. I would definitely go back but wouldn’t order chicken.

The food was excellent and the staff could not leave been more helpful and friendly. This was only my second visit to the Carriage House, but it’s already my new favorite.

They seated us in the Sports Bar which we did not like. It was very bright and noisy. If you go and end up in the Sports Bar, watch out for the over an inch elevated threshold at the top of the stairs. It is very dangerous and I stumbled and nearly fell. The service was excellent and the food was okay.

The food was excellent, and the beer selection is fantastic! My problem with my most recent experience at Carriage House was the lack of communication related to my reservation. It was Valentine's Day, and I had thought I was making a reservation for the dining room area. Instead, however, we were seated in the sports bar. I often go to sports bars for dinner, and I like what the new ownership has done at Carriage House with the space, but when I take my wife out for Valentine's, I do not want to try to have a romantic dinner surrounded by a collection of televisions. This was extremely disappointing. I will still go to Carriage House for dinners and a night out with friends, because the food and the service are both wonderful! But in the future, if I want to have a romantic dinner (at Carriage House or anywhere else), I will not use Open Table to book a dinner reservation. If I had known ahead of time that they only had seating in the sports bar, that would've been one thing. But having no idea at all? That is a complete and utter failure of communication and is inexcusable.

We came here to celebrate Valentines day a day early. The atmosphere was great, and quiet which we like. I had the schnitzel and spaetzle and it was great! Will be going again tomorrow!

In the pub first which is great for families but we switched to the dining room by fireplace for ambiance. Very nice!!
