   I have been to Carbon several times for an early morning coffee, and have always enjoyed the service, atmosphere and especially the coffee. I decided to give their food a try, and thought restaurant week would be the perfect time to do so. YES!: They stuck by the original $52.80 price for the menu, live music that was pretty good, the atmosphere (per the norm) was warm and cozy. Bummer: The food was severely lacking seasoning. I love salt, but even those at the table who normally do not salt their food found it bland. Our server was very nice, but someone in our group ordered bourbon, to which he suggested a "great" unknown brand, and it turned out to be scotch. Not a huge deal, but scotch is not bourbon. The doughnuts were probably the biggest disappointment. They tasted like they were several days old, and they were extremely dense and again, lacking in flavor. I will continue to visit Carbon for their delicious coffee and nice morning atmosphere, but it will be a while before I dine here again.
