   We had a nice waiter who was on top of everything. Food was prepared well and came out quickly. Drinks and tres leche cake were AWESOME. Please support ENpt businesses!

   Food was delicious and service was excellent. I love this restaurant. I love the farmingdale location and was thrilled when it opened in my neighborhood. Will be back soon

   Positve was the food was delicious which at the end of the day is the most important thong about eating out, but there are many other variables that make it an experience. This restaurant did not make it a great experience. Arrived at the restaurant about 15 minutes earlier than our opentable reservation. When we arrived there was only one table eating. No hostess. Waited a good five minutes before anyone came out to greet us. I informed her we were early for our reservation but obviously we didn’t need to worry about that. When ordering we asked for a side or small portion of guacamole for our grandchildren. We were informed they don’t do that. We would have to order a regular guacamole of which they would make in front of us. Another strike. We ordered our meals and after she left we realized she never asked if we wanted drinks. Another strike We were fine with the water but other than when they brought the meals to the table and to get the check, we never saw anyone. Another strike. Got the check and gave my credit card she dropped the check with a pen that didn’t work. Nobody to be found. I went up to the hostess station hoping to find a pen but to no luck. Now standing around waiting for someone to come out of the back. Another strike. Later in the day i get an email from opentable saying i didnt show for the reservation and had to provide my receipt to show i did. Another strike So while the food was good the experience was not. Prices were on the higher side for a lunch serving. Fish tacos were very small Disappointing

   Pleasantly surprised to see such lovely decor in a little neighborhood restaurant Greeted by owner and great service from the wonderful weight staff. The food was excellent. The service was great and I would definitely recommend it.

   The place is beautiful. The waiter was awesome. I had the soup. It was the best I ever had. I ordered a pork dish. It was extremely dry even though the waiter was wonderful food coming out of the kitchen was extremely slow. We were a table of eight, and we all did not get our food at the same time.

   I will not return on a weekend. The restaurant was busy and understaffed. The mahi mahi tacos smelled like old fish and were served as small tidbits of fish in the taco. Our waiter was clearly overwhelmed which added to the slow service. The manager on the floor should have been helping with drink orders, bussing tables, making guac and checking on diners. Instead he was hanging around the front of the restaurant. We watched people getting tired of waiting for tables and leaving. It’s too bad. Our first 2 meals there were very good. They have lots to work out.

   I've been dining at CaraCara in Farmingdale for a number of years and was glad to have one open up nearer to my home. Service was outstanding as was the food. Welcome to the neighborhood!

   We had a reservation and there were many empty tables when we arrived so we asked for a booth. They flat out refused and said they were for larger groups. It was 2 of us and the tables for 2 are tiny. The booths aren’t even that big. That was an immediate damper. Then we waited 20 solid minutes to be acknowledged by a server. We had to ask a bus boy to get us someone. When our server finally arrived we had the table side guacamole, which was fantastic. And then we had enchiladas and tacos which again were delicious and fantastic!! The food is a solid 5. The service was great after we got acknowledged. But we were still really disappointed about not getting a booth since there were several other couples seated at booths after we arrived because there were no more tiny tables left. Food - 5 Crappy initial impression- 2 Service before we spoke up - 0 Service after we spoke up - 5
