Price fixe menu. Great flavor on delmonico steak, but some toughness in the cut. Frutta de mare was great, rigatoni was not, the broccoli rabe was quite bitter. Cheesecake and cloudless chocolate cake were super rich, very good.

Ordered a Cosma and was asked "if Absolute OK?" I of course said yes, and thought "great". When the bill came we were charged $4 upcharge for "top shelf"vodka. Long wait between apps and main course. When we inquired about our pizza after a long wait, we were told it was dropped on the way to the oven and had to be remade. Poor service. Blah atmosphere.

Capriccios is always a great choice. The selection is not run of the mill. Preparation and presentation are always top shelf. The service is always impeccable-like in Italy. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

My party of 4 arrived for our 715pm reservation on time. Our table wasn't ready until 730pm. It's a cozy Italian restaurant in a quiet area. Seating is limited. Parking is tough in the surrounding area. The salads were large enough to share. The main courses were ample sized (not overly large) and very tasty. The pasta dishes included some old favorites and some creative ideas. The desserts were quite good. We shared these also. It became a fun, relaxing experience at this small Italian bistro type restaurant.

We travel to Saratoga Springsas our son and our niece attend Skidmore college and were looking for a casual but nice place to have pizza and pasta with them and a middle school age child. Even though we have been dining in Saratoga Springs for a couple of years, we had never tried Capriccio Saratoga, but were thrilled with the experience. The service was great, the atmosphere was incredibly comfortable, and the food was quite good. We will be back and would recommend it highly.

We really enjoyed our dinner here. On a recent Saturday night in September, the wait was about 45 minutes without a reservation -- the restaurant is small. But the food is delicious and was worth the wait. We had roasted vegetables as appetizer, totally recommend. The warm bread, served with sweet balsamic vinegar and/or olive oil bottles on the table, was a treat. I had the rigatoni with meat ragu, which was hearty and excellent, I couldn't finish because I'd filled up on bread and veggies. Would definitely come here again.

We did family style this second visit. Fresh yellow beet salad with Gorgonzola, followed by a hot baked margarita pizza with a ricotta stuffed crust, and almost finally the special ravioli which was spinach and artichoke hearts with a light, fresh tomato sauce. For dessert we shared an orange ricotta cheesecake which we all loved with tasty coffee. Overall, a solid wonderful meal shared by 3 friends meeting together in Saratoga!
