   Probably the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. Will not return nor would I recommend this restaurant to anyone.

   Gordon Ramsey Please call this place! They are the kind of place that one day you will pass by and they closed down and you wonder why. I read reviews before coming here and was confused why some loved and some hated. The level of customer service when all goes wrong is so bad, they get very defensive and basically think that they are the best gift to Ortley beach. I hate to tell them that they are not. While my food was good once we got it. There were tables around us that weren't even served and they were treated so poorly. Out of principle , I will never come back to this place.

   I would have given 0 stars however it doesn’t allow. The service was the worst I have ever experienced in all my years eating dinner out. Even with a reservation for 4 people we still waited over 2 and a half hours for a meal that we never received. As we were leaving the servers tried to bring it out in pieces not even all the meals. Not once did a server or manager come to the table and let us know there was an issue. When we finally asked, we were alerted that the kitchen was backed up. As we were paying our bill for the wine and appetizer, the waitress didn’t apologize only said that they took off the meal we didn’t eat (we never received!) First time my family has ever left a restaurant without eating the meal.

   Every time we go to Capriccio’s by the Sea - the air-conditioning isn’t working. It’s difficult to enjoy a meal when you’re sweating! The food is good but something MUST be done about the ungodly temperature in the restaurant!

   Waitress was good however food took an hour to get out. It was out busy. Drinks were very overpriced my white wine was $14

   To start with they claimed they didn't have my OpenTable reservation and even after showing the hostess the reservation in my phone app she was pretty unimpressed and said sorry. But she was able to accommodate us so it wasn't a total loss. The food was ok. Chicken parm sandwich was tasty but the fried chicken breast was tough. Would I return...probably. Would I run back there again or recommend it to others?...not likely.

    Food was ok. Overpriced. Our server was great, but the rest of the staff was moody. The bathrooms were dirty, looked like they hadn’t mopped in a while.
