Capital Prime, an award-winning steakhouse and seafood restaurant in Lansing, Michigan, features hand-cut USDA Prime and Certified Angus Beef. Aged a minimum of 21 days, all steaks are prepared with our special blend of house seasonings and broiled at 1800°. You will not find a better steak anywhere.

Our seafood is chosen for freshness and flavor and prepared by our certified chefs to be delicious, perfectly prepared and presented.

Capital Prime shops locally. Our dishes are prepared with the finest Michigan ingredients, handpicked daily by our trained chefs. Capital Prime is proud to cater to gluten-free and vegetarian diets with a wide selection of choices.

    Pleasant place to dine. It was our anniversary and wanted a fine dining experience. The service was great. Red rose on our table and a complimentary champagne toast at dessert. The food, however, was a disappointment. For the price we were expecting more. My steak was not exceptional-no special flavor or mouthwatering taste. It was cooked to medium rare nicely, though. Will probably try another venue for next special occasion.

    Capital Prime Steak and Seafood was a great way to spend my 2nd anniversary. The food and service was phenomenal! I got the ribeye adding mushrooms and blue cheese and my girlfriend orderd the NY Strip. Both were both cooked exact to our order, (Medium,Medium Rare). We had the scallops as well for an appetizer, which were fantastic. Great experience overall

    Waited a very long time for food and it was not busy. The medium well steak was rare after waiting a long time…..the staff was lovely.

    We had a wonderful experience for our anniversary dinner. Although we have come to expect this from Capital Prime, they did provide some special “extras” for us to help make it that much more special. Our service was in particular very good and our impression is their people are valued and a reason why we can expect excellent service.

    Food was excellent and well prepared. Server struck a balance between hovering and ignoring-polite, nice and interesting to talk to. Altogether a lovely evening.

    The service was great. The food was excellent. The fact the whole staff said happy anniversary was very nice and the champagne 🍾 to celebrate was outstanding. Thanks for the great experience this is my wife and i 3rd time for our anniversary.
