   While we found the resort itself a bit "tired: (well at least the room we stayed in). the restaurant was very good. Good food, good service--and don't miss the baked Alaska!

   One of THE best filet’s we’ve had. Odd to pay $2/slice for bread. It’s usually included, but….considering the times. A definite must dine location if you’re in Denali.

   Steak was good, service was excellent. We had vouchers from our trip so we appreciated the value. Would have been pricey otherwise.

   Terrence was a great server. The food was very good . Halibut morsels were delicious . Fish was fresh and moist . Steaks were cooked perfectly . The baked Alaska was YUMMY.

   The food was delicious, especially the crab risotto! The serving size is huge, so consider this when ordering.

   We had reservations and requested a quiet table We were jammed into a corner next to kitchen where waiters picked up food and cooks yelled all the time. We couldn’t hear anyone. I asked to be seated elsewhere but waitresses was upset and didn’t give us any options. I would have waited a while for a good table but she yells at me and told me that’s all they had. I realized they were busy but it was no reason to upset herself and especially us. It ruined our dinner and just ordered an entree and left service was bad. Food was not to standard. Halibut was dry!! Portions and sides were very limited. I was not offered a salad or anything else. Forget dessert we were there already 2 hours. Soooo not worth it

    So disappointed. We’d eaten the night before at the King Salmon Restaurant on the Denali Princess Lodge property where the food was outstanding from start to finish. The Canyon Steakhouse was horrible except for the steak. Scallop appetizer was undercooked, the maple glazed carrots were whole carrots hardly cooked and hardly glazed. Took one bite and sent it back. Instead I swapped it for the scalloped potatoes. No seasoning and lukewarm. Warm apple tart with vanilla ice cream sounded good for desert. Receive it cold. The threw the tart on the plate without warming it. Sent it back and they returned with a replacement that was equally cold. I’d pick a different restaurant.
