Long regarded as the premier dining destination among the Hawaiian islands, this beloved institution is a gathering place for generations of friends, families and neighbors.     CanoeHouse is the best restaurant on the island, hands down. Food is spectacular, service is AMAZING (we love Ian), atmosphere is beautiful, etc., etc! The hotel itself is great - updated, great staff, beautiful beach. I hate to say this out loud because I don’t want it to be harder to get reservations!!

    Always perfect: from the greeting at the hostess desk, to the prompt service, and exquisite cuisine. Did I mention the dramatic sunset?

    Our yearly tradition each time we visit The Big Island and The Canoe House NEVER disappoints! The food, the service, the view/location…can’t be beat! Thank you Canoe House!!

    If you’re on the Big island of Hawaii and you want a romantic near the ocean experience come try this restaurant. Friendly, excellent food Hawaiian / Asian cuisine fresh fish and wide verity of meat options.
