food was good, but came out slow even though there were only two tables seated in the empty restaurant. server’s attitude ruined the experience and had to end the meal early to dine elsewhere.

The kitchen cannot keep up when they are busy, so you wait a long time for your food. It really makes for an unpleasant experience. While the food is good, it is not good enough to deal with this. I won’t be back

First time visit to Canela’s and we were not disappointed! The service, food and ambiance were all wonderful and lived up to the highly rated reviews that brought this small neighborhood restaurant to our attention. Restaurants on Market can be deceiving at times but this one should not be missed! Bravo!

Delicious food. Service was a bit spotty (delayed) but they comped us drinks and dessert which was generous and much appreciated by us.

we had a fantastic experience, and the food was really good. our server was really kind and brought us ice cream with a candle and an astrology book where we can look up our birthdays. those small details make dining so fun thank you for an incredible experience. The duck meatballs and the tortilla was my favorite

Great tapas tasting with substitutes for dietary needs. Lots of value priced wines and we found one Juan Gil blend we enjoyed. Only negative was a very loud table next to ours, but fortunately they ate quickly and left!
