   Terrible service. I waited 15 min for a drink order to be taken, and another 15 for the drink to come. At one point I ordered 2 at a time so I wasn't sucking on ice. The food looked pretty good-I ordered the burger. It comes with two cheese options on the menu and the server failed to present these options to me. She went with the "default" option gruyere which I do not like. Our server then failed to provide me with a solution, or offer me something else. So after a $200 lunch bill-I left Cafe Cancan starving, and went to Flock(another restaurant)next door. This experience was very upsetting, as I've always wanted to try Cafe Cancan and it is walking distance from my house.

   After making a reservation for my birthday we were seated at the pass through between the front and back. I asked if they could accommodate my dietary restrictions by making avocado toast and the server gave me a hard time. Hostess was very condescending. Beautiful venue but the staff need an attitude check.

   Pretty space. Great servers. Really good food. Four of us had the family style dinner. I would heartily recommend that. Lots of little plates. Was concerned there would be too much food but it was close to perfect portion wise.
