   We have been to Campi a few times and have raved to our friends what a wonderful dining experience we had, not so much last night. We waited 20 minutes to get our drink order, then had to flag our waitress down to place our dinner hour after another 20 minutes, even though she walked by our table many times. Our food was delicious, but the service I’ve come to expect at Campi just wasn’t there, which made the whole meal a little less.

   We were a party of four, and it was a first visit for all of us. First of all, it is a very pretty restaurant; it had a very nice, comfortable, contemporary feeling. We ordered two appetizers to share, the beef carpaccio and the fried calamari. The carpaccio was excellent, but the calamari was severely overcooked. Surprisingly for such a simple dish, but that was the only disappointment of the evening. The entrees ordered included the squid ink pasta, the short rib agnolotti pasta, and chicken parmesan, and everyone was very pleased. The drinks were good, and the wine selection was nice, with a very good selection from Italy. We had the Montefalco Sagrantino, and it was very nice. We finished off the evening with Amarto and shared the salted caramel budino, which was great. Our server, Tristan, who had told us that he was in his first week at the restaurant, but we would have never known. He was great, with enough attention paid to us, without being over-bearing. All said, it was a very nice evening, and we will be back soon.

   Celebrated an anniversary here with friends. The patio looked appealing, but the inside is so beautiful and it was a quiet weeknight, we sat inside. Everything was delicious.

   Desiring a light and quick dinner before a show at the Delray Playhouse, IO recommended CAMPI., having dined there before and appreciating the vibe and food. We were not disappointed. Friends ordered salmon and swordfish, and shared a delicious side of potatoes. My husband and I shared the jumbo shrimp, in a delightful sauce, served with a small side broccoli. Topping the meal off, we all shared one dessert, and it was very sweet and very good. Our server was attentive and accommodating. At 5;30 PM sitting, the inside was virtually empty, but when we left at 7:10, the patio was fully occupied, and 3/4 of the inside tables were occupied. With so many Italian restaurants to chose from, CAMPI is worth your time. The food is damn good.

   Celebrated my birthday last Sunday here! all the staff is incredibly kind and attentive, amazing food and great experience! 10/10 recommend, our new favorite restaurant in delray!

   This was my 3rd time at Campi and was excited to bring my Husband for the first time as I had great meals here before. Was a bit underwhelmed with the quality and attention to the meal. The food seemed lackluster and not a thoughtful as once before.
