   Sadly this amazing venue launched a new menu the night we dined. We were sat at our appointed reservation in a lovely booth with breathtaking view of the sunset. Sadly it took an hour for our apps to arrive and one of the three the were “ out of” , unfortunately neither our waiter or manager approached the table during the hour delay. When I asked I was told it’s a new menu… ok only half of your table are seated… are they catching the fish? The apps were delicious. Second and third courses were also delayed. The meal too 3 1/2 hours to be served. After several discussion the GM approached and offered drinks or comp’d entrees. I dont need free food, I need a great meal served in appropriate amount of time. My suggestion is give them time to get their act together before you go🤷‍♂️

   This was a romantic date night for me and my boyfriend. From the moment we walked in, to the moment we left we were treated as respected guests and I felt they all truly valued or presence there. The courses were made to perfection and served very fashionably by our waitress. It was amazing! One of a kind

   We had an 8 PM reservation and showed up early at 7:40pm. The hostess was SO SWEET! She welcomed us for our 4 year anniversary and seated us early. The waiter didn’t give us the dinner menus only the snack menu and wine menu at first. We asked for the menu for entrées and appetizers and we were told after our snack comes out which was odd. We didn’t end up getting our cocktails until 30 minutes after we ordered them and the portions were extremely tiny. I asked for a spirit free drink and requested no ginger beer but they put it in anyway. The crackers snack with hummus had no flavor. The scallop appetizer was ok (extremely small and I think it was just one single cut up scallop). The one meal I really enjoyed was the lobster linguine and my husband got the halibut but he said it had a strong onion flavor that was overpowering. We didn’t get our actual dinner until almost 9pm. My husband got a cocktail and without asking, they brought him another one that he didn’t want or order and they charged us $28 for it. The service took sooooo long we didn’t even stay for dessert. It’s disappointing because the only person that recognized that I made note of our anniversary was the hostess. No one even told us about the menu or what the recommended. Overall it was a very underwhelming service and everything took a long time.

   Fine dining at its finest! The atmosphere, service, and food were impeccable. Loved the open kitchen, attentive staff and beautiful views. Everything we had was amazing but the filet and scallop crudo were our favorites. The perfect restaurant for a very special dining experience. We hope to return soon!

    This is my 2nd time at Calusso in3weeks the food and service are unbelievable my guest was so happy every dish from appetizers to dessert are great and we have eaten in some of the best restaurants around the world Calusso is a top in my book soon as you arrive Gary and Cassandra are 1st class professionals and my server Viktoriia was excellent if you’re in Fort Lauderdale do not miss
