   We decided to take a break on Labor day and go out and grab a quick bite. We chose California Pizza Kitchen and due to the holiday, the restaurant was comfortably occupied. Our server met us promptly and continued checking on us all during our meal. Our meals were quite tasty and there was plenty for both of us. We enjoyed the food, our server and our time at CPK.

   Upgrade from CiCi’s Pizza. Used to be a great restaurant. Not anymore. Very dirty restrooms. Floor in dining areas was littered and dirty. Had to request silverware. Had to ask for straws and refills. Olive oil to dip bread in tasted bitter and cheap. People at our next table mentioned that as well. Food tasted okay. However we will not be back. Cannot recommend anymore.

   We arrived a few minutes prior to our seating time and the staff had no idea we had completed the online seating call ahead. Very disappointed, not sure where the breakdown was?

   The food was very good. Their priority seating does not work. We signed up for it and arrived at the appointed time. They do not check the computer and had no idea that we get done priority seating. They either need to be checking the computer or stop offering priority seating via OpenTable.

   The food quality is good for what it is. It is not too fancy, but still includes good flavors and is somewhat creative. Service is generally good. Using the Open Table to get a table is a good idea. Wine is overpriced. The price point for food is on the high side for the type of food that you get. All of this said, it is still on the list of places that we enjoy going, and we go here as a family more often than most other restaurants.

   Mother's day and not one person in the place when we got there! We never needed reservations or priority seating. Food was average but over priced. Service was average.

   Was surprised to be told that we were getting put on the waiting list and that we didn’t have a reservation but just priority seating. However we were sat a few minutes later outside as requested. Server Nina greeted us, got our drinks and placed our order, and then we essentially didn’t see her for 45 minutes. It was very odd. She finally brought us bread and then said all of our food would be out shortly. I said I would like the appetizer to come out first. 10 minutes later the appetizer came out (so this is almost an hour after ordering) and about 2 minutes later our entree came out. 5 minutes later we were still actively eating (pizza in hand, mid-bite) and she asked if we want a box and she gave us the dessert tray. Felt like she realized she neglected us and then tried to make it up by speeding us along. The food itself was pretty good. The outside seating was fine. Service was not good and the hostess was borderline rude but the male host who sat us was polite.

   Pizza was very good as was the service but to over charge on a glass of beer for huge profit will keep me from coming back.

    Even with ‘priority seating’ our wait for a party of two was 35 minutes. Just wholly unacceptable. What was the point of reserving. The service and Good here are substandard, stay away.
