   Let me preface this review by saying I have been a huge fan of CPK for the 30 years. I love their food. However, I took some work colleagues to CPK at the Century City Mall on Monday for lunch. We each got the pizza/salad combo lunch special. After the waiter took our order, it took 40 minutes for the food to reach our table and then the pizzas were all way overcooked and inedible. Someone could have looked at the pizzas and said, "we can't serve that." Not only that, my own order was not even placed. The waiter just didn't put my order in. At this point, we really needed to get back to work, as we had already been there an hour. We asked the pizzas to be re-made, and by the time they got to our table we had to ask for boxes and had to leave. Oh, and my iced tea glass had a huge crack in it. And you'd think after all that, the manager would have at least knocked something off my bill, but no...

   Ordinary... nothing to write home about. Friendly staff and good ambience. Can be given a miss.

   Never reserved with “Priority Seating” before...and had no idea what that really meant. Waited over 30 minutes for a table - won’t be bothering with that again. Either allow reservations on Open Table or say no reservations-the system of “priority” doesn’t work, as we saw another larger party come in AFTER us & get seated BEFORE we did. Very frustrating. Our server was great & food is as expected & solid.

   I have ordered take-in several times from this restaurant. This time I went there to sample the pizza hot out of the oven. Unfortunately, it didn't seem a lot hotter and it seemed to contain less of the more costly ingredients (e.g, meat).

   My husband and son came to have lunch with me and our lunch ended up being also 2 hours. I've been there before for a lunch at the bar and this service was quick but this time the food took over 45 mins. and we couldn't even find a manager to complain to talk to. We couldn't even get our server's attention as she was the only one working the bar so that made it difficult for her to handle all the tables and drinks. We like CPK but unfortunately after this experience I won't be going back. Instead of enjoying the time with my family I was rushing because I had to get back to work.

   Delicious. Great new menu options, fine upgrade for CPK. Server “Davion” was exceptional, a man who knows how to keep all the plates spinning and everyone feels satisfied. CPK is no longer just a safe place to take your children.

   WE have been going regularly to CPK since 1994 or so. Regularly means once or twice per month. Usually go on a Friday or Sunday night. Loved to see them on OpenTable. To make a reservation without appearing and putting name on list makes it so much easier. But, too good to be true. It appears that CPK does not make reservations but has "Priority Seating." This means, the way I look at it, is that you name is added to the list when you asked for a reservation. So your wait time would or could be the same as putting it on the list when you arrive. I guess that CPK would rather only cater to walk in trade instead of holding a reservation for ten or twelve minutes. I really wonder how many people make a reservation and then don't show up? Also, what used to be great service, good food, fair value for food ordered and served and great communication between staff and diner, is just not the same. Maybe with all the expansion CPK has lost it's way or forgot what made it a great place to go. We will continue to go, but if another alternative appears to be as good as CPK once was, we will move to the other venue. Any ideas?
