   Our tea service for 5 was lovely. The venue is warm and comfortable while still feeling upscale. The food was fresh and house made. I wish the tea was loose leaf, but it was instead served as high-quality sachets. We were dining with my niece who has some severe food allergies, but the server and chef worked together to accommodate and she was served a beautiful tier full of safe goodies. It was quiet on a Sunday midday but service was attentive while the pace was relaxed. Would recommend for a bit of a twist on a traditional tea service.

   Food was phenomenal. We had the fish and thrice fried chips and the King Richard’s proper roast. Both dishes were amazing. Best prime rib of my life. The lemon black pepper scones were divine too. Ambience is perfect and our server was present, efficient and knowledgeable. We will be back and bring friends!

   We went for the afternoon tea. It is not a true "tea" experience. The one sandwich had no flavor but lots of cream cheese so like eating a mouthful of cream cheese. The other had 2 bites of chicken in a wonderbread "crustable" so it was all bread. The tea selection was laughable. The scone was dry as a bone, semi burnt, and tasteless.

   Wonderful time for a birthday tea with grand niece! They treated us to a small glass of bubbles (non alcohol for the grand niece) and a lovely BD brownie with candle! Great service, ambience and food!

   We came across this restaurant by accident, just because our hotel was nearby. Food is exquisite and very reasonable priced for the quality and the atmosphere We got fish and chips, the rib eye, the ahi poke and the banana dessert ( to die for). It should be a must stop for everyone going to San Diego Portions are very generous, you will not go home hungry The only regret I have is thar we were too full to order the sticky pudding Next time!!!
