   The Vibes were vibing and the food and cocktails were fantastic! We had a table of 6 - mood was festive but because the music was so loud it was difficult to hear the table conversation at times.

   We got placed in the sun originally, but our server was super helpful and got us another table in the shade.

   Really wanted to love this restaurant! We made a reservation for a table for 2 for Easter Brunch. When we got there, our table was one of two tables in the whole restaurant that were directly in the hot sun. After sitting for about 5 minutes my boyfriend and I were already getting super sweaty. We asked our hostess if we could move tables to anywhere else in the restaurant as the restaurant was pretty empty at the time. She told us she couldn’t because they were booked for the day. Which normally would be NBD & I would totally understand but the restaurant had hardly anyone in it as I had mentioned before. We quickly ate some of our food and ended up taking the rest of it to go because we were so hot. It was a bummer because by the time we left (only stayed for maybe 35 minutes) the restaurant was still pretty empty and it appeared we could have been easily accommodated to sit elsewhere. Overall the place is super cute, the food was good and our service was ok. Hopefully if we decide to come back again, it will be a more positive experience.

   Brekafast at 8am was nice and quiet, patio was lovely for the perfect April weather. Service was great, food came out super fast.

   Overall I had a great experience. Definitely a “vibe” place. Lovely setup and service was great! Food tasted amazing and would love to try everything else on the menu. The only thing was that the food I ordered was very oily. Like more than typically it would be at a fine dining restaurant like this. I got the shishito peppers and pork chop and tasted oil/butter more than any of the other actual flavors in the dish. That’s my only critique, overall good experience.

   Third time dining at Cala, likely my last. Food is exceptional, my hat is off to the chef. Service is excellent as well. Noise level is very loud making conversation difficult. But, being told while eating our entree that our “time was up” due to a 2 hour limit on our table when we literally just got our entrees totally rude and unacceptable. As a local we have great options. Granted it was Saturday previous times were weekdays but requiring us to abruptly finish our meal “ because it’s our Policy”…we won’t return-that’s our policy! Ended up someplace else for desert and coffee.

   The restaurant put us in non ventilated ballroom under the hotel, due to weather. They overbooked. We didn’t stay!

    The food was amazing and so is the service. However, I was unfamiliar with the setting and the restaurant was much louder than I thought it would be. Everything else was great.
