In the front room at Cagen, we serve a $150 Sushi Omakase which includes uncommon fish from Japan.
The selection is specially chosen by Chef-Owner Toshio Tomita with seasonal offerings from Hokkaido to Kyushu.

Our spacious main sushi counter was specially designed and built by Japanese artisan craftsman, using imported wood from Japan.

Authentic omakase experience! There are also a lot of rare sushi pieces that you won’t find elsewhere in NYC. Very tasty and feels like a lovely sushi-ya in Tokyo. Would be back again for sure!

One of the best experiences of my life. Food was extraordinary and fresh. The Chef was amazing and professional. Every piece of food was outstanding.

Cagen was a great experience! It was easy to interact with the chefs and the other diners at the counter were friendly, too. There will be no more omakase starting 7/21, but instead on 7/23 there is sake tasting and tapas!!!

Our evening at Cagen was unbelievable. We sat at the counter and enjoyed Chef Tomita's masterful work. The variety and the service were incredible. I couldn't find a complaint if I tried.
