   Good food. Good service. Bar was ok- needs better bourbon and rye selections. Very quiet for a Tuesday evening.

   We always have a great meal here. Great ambiance as well. This time we sat in the window in downtown Birmingham. Great vibe!

   Sat facing fireplace out on the patio. It was warm cozy and very comfortable. Service and food were very good. Along with the drinks, food & atmosphere it was hard to get up & leave.

   Lovely restaurant, great food and service. This was a wonderful, romantic Valentines Day date with my husband.

   We enjoyed dinner at Cafe Via; it never disappoints us. The menu is extensive and they always have an interesting special or two. The crab cake appetizer is big enough for an entree and the entrees whether beef or seafood are perfectly prepared and presented. And if you like Brussel sprouts, theirs are amazing. Save room for dessert. Too yummy to miss

   overall a wonderful experience...tuna appetizer was outstanding! All the meals were well prepared too. we would go back definitely. we had put a note in our reservation that the young lady in our group was celebrating her birthday but no acknowledgement was made. we sat at a table near the bar and the guests at the bar seemed over intoxicated and very loud/disruptive...noted that all the tables near us seemed to be overly aware of the noise from the bar.

    We had reservations but were told they were overbooked and they had no table for us except at the bar. We left.
