   A limited menu usually promises excellent food. This was not the case at St. Ex. It used to be so good! The steak was low quality and the frites were soaking in the beef juice.

   When we got there, our table was not available, so we sat at the bar. Decided to eat at the bar instead, and were served immediately! The dishes are not super filling, so we needed to order tots on tip of our order, but the mimosa deal is great! ($10 with brunch, and $1 for each refill.)

   One of the best burgers in town in my opinion. Great service our waiter was fantastic. Great deal on mimosas for brunch

   The restaurant was too noisy to have conversation. And the food was extremely disappointing. Too bad, as this used to be a great neighborhood spot.

   The room is charming, the bar inviting and the service very good. But the menu is awful - the only thing I wanted to order was a burger, which tasted rather gamey, and my dinner partner's choice at the waitress's recommendation was gloopy and rather tasteless. Don't do "Southern" unless you know what you're doing. A French named bar that looks as authentically European as this one could do a whole lot better with simpler, but good, ingredients and dishes. I would have loved for this to become a regular after-theatre spot as it is so attractive and in a great area, but for the menu - never again!

   Solid and reliable all the time. Good food, good ambience, good drink selection, happening part of town. If you want nice but not fancy along with a menu that most can eat from, this is a top consideration.

   We’ve been regulars for years. Sadly it seems that they’ve made changes to their business model and menu accordingly. They’re going for cheap, low quality bar food now and it shows.

    I like this little neighborhood place a lot, but the menu has definitely changed from formal dining to more fried pub food. The place is cute and the service is great, so an excellent option for drinks and snacks.
