   I have frequented the Café Rouge in Wimbledon for many years and thoroughly enjoy the food as well as the friendly atmosphere of the staff.

   We visited the Wimbledon branch in May to celebrate my daughters birthday; it was a weekday and not very busy. Although we requested a cake they advised they could not organise anything so we brought our own. We were not welcomed at all from the moment we arrived and the waitress made us feel we were not wanted and rushed through the whole dinner; however despite the bad service, the food was good and it did not spoil the evening. Thinking it was an "off night" for the waitress, we went there again on Saturday. Unfortunately we had the same waitress again and much the same service - I think she has her favourites as other people were not getting the same treatment! Food is good but best to go to another branch for service!!

   We walked into a relatively empty restaurant. When the drinks eventually arrived the waitress spilt them all over our table and clothes - no offer of compensation. Food took 1hr 20mins to arrive, and no explanation or apology. A disappointment.
