   we were visiting from Toronto with friends and wanted to find a great spot for brunch which would also be a unique tourist destination. The hotel building which houses the cafe is a beautiful art deco gem. The neighborhood is fun and vibrant. Definately worth the trip from the west loop!!

   This was my second time at Cafe Robey and I choose it for the location, it was easy for my dining companion to reach. The atmosphere is casual and friendly, my experience both times I've been. Service is good, and the food tasty and well presented. I'm sure I'll be back again!

   Went for a birthday dinner with a handful of friends and enjoyed everything from the food to the cocktails to the ambiance! Staff was incredibly friendly and took great care of us - complimentary dessert and champagne! Cannot wait to go back!

   Food was good. Portions were a bit small for the price you were paying. Service was excellent! I had the biscuits and gravy. Only critique is the biscuits were way too small. I had to order more on the side.

   Breakfast salad was light and refreshing. Sausage was delicious. Not fatty. Coffee was very strong and almost bitter. Wait staff was attentive but not overbearing. It was very nice breakfast. I would recommend

   Tasty treats await you in this posh styled cafe located at the corner of happening now and what's new and next. Staff is very hospitable, great atmosphere allows you to check out the street action or just focus on your table mates. The Nashville Hot Chicken is fabulous along with many other items from their daily brunch menu make repeat visits a must.

   The main reason I really liked Cafe Robey was the ambiance -- nice, quiet, relaxing place, and there aren't too many of those in the city. Overall the food was good, including the delicious smoked trout appetizer. My husband ordered the chicken breast and raved about it. I had the cod, and the sauce was described by wait staff to be "balanced" using a bit of sour from the wine and a bit of sweet from the apple. It was a bit too sour for me, and I happen to enjoy sour foods. Just didn't seem to fit the delicateness of the cod. I would return to try something else.

    Unbelievable food. This is the only place I want to eat now! Great ambiance and service is prompt and lacks pretension
