Our innovative Workforce Development Program is designed as a positive youth development space that supports the career exploration and job readiness opportunities of young people 16-24 years old. Interns earn industry credentials, explore career and educational pathways that suit their individual abilities, and experience real-world, on the job training.

Led by a skilled team of industry professionals with shared lived-experience and incorporating a cadre of community-based partners, we work to build bright futures with and alongside our young people.

Café Reconcile is a destination lunch spot for a wide cross-section of New Orleanians as well as visitors from all across the country. Focusing on the kind of “soul food” for which New Orleans is known, the restaurant has earned high praise from local and national critics.

When guests dine in the cafe, funds go directly back into our Workforce Training Program ensuring Interns and Alumni have essential supports.

My wife and I visited Cafe Reconcile for the first time. My wife enjoyed her Seafood Mac&Cheese and said everything in it made it delicious. Regarding her collard greens she felt they were a little too spicy; she is used to them being sweeter. I tried one of their specials, hot shrimp with honey which was excellent; it was served in a sweet sauce over greens. I tried the sweet potato crumble which was great; I really enjoy sweet potatoes and the way they made this did not disappoint at all! We finished up by sharing a Bananas Foster bread pudding dish. I rarely order bread pudding, but today I am glad we did.

Excellent food and service. We had the gumbo and collards, jerk chicken with Mac and cheese, side salads Watermelon lemonade and bananas foster with coffee for dessert.

Fried chicken does in fact need more time to prepare but was as fresh as could be. Was at table more than forty five minutes before arrival. Partner had the chicken with onion rings and potato salad. Salad had an unusual Cajun taste that was a bit over the top. Onion rings were full-size and tasty. My mixed vegetables were good if not great. Sweet potato crumble was out of this world. Overall we most likely will not return simply because there are so many restaurants to try in NOLA.
