This restaurant is boutique and high quality. The atmosphere is intimate and the Cafe Monarch has been regarded as the most romantic in Arizona - I completely agree. Not my first time at the Cafe Monarch, and I've come back because of the impeccable experience. When you make a reservation, indicate the occasion: Anniversary, Birthday, Engagement,... the staff make a point of making it special. The menu has multiple courses with optional wine pairings. If you're vegan you should call; I can't speak to the non-sea food/meat options. I'm a carnivore and enjoyed the Steak fillets and Sea Bass. Refined and relaxed -- enjoy.

I have not been back to Cafe Monarch in a long time. The food,especially the service has been consistently good! My friends definitely had a great time. The entire night has been one delightful memorable evening. I’ll be bringing my family on my next visit.

Excellent customer service provided by Mr.Chris. and his associates. You all made this a super memorable birthday celebration for my lovely daughter. Thank you all. The Chefs eight sample meal was delicious. Will see you next year.

Wow. What an amazing dining experience. The food was outstanding. The wine pairing was impeccable. Everything was absolutely perfection. Could not recommend this place more. Staff were best I’ve ever experienced. It is a little pricey but worth every penny.

We celebrated our anniversary at Monarch and couldn’t have asked for a more memorable evening. From start to finish, the food, service, and atmosphere were outstanding—every element thoughtfully executed and full of care. A heartfelt thank you to Giovani, who went above and beyond with his warm hospitality and thoughtful recommendations—not just for our meal, but for future travels as well! He truly elevated the experience and made us feel incredibly well taken care of. We also want to give a special shoutout to Robby, who—though not our server—sent over what turned out to be one of our favorite dishes of the night: the octopus. It was absolutely phenomenal and such a generous surprise. The team at Monarch helped make our anniversary feel truly special. We’ll be talking about that meal (and that octopus!) for a long time—and we can’t wait to return.

We've said it before and we'll say it again. There is simply no better place to dine in Arizona than Cafe Monarch. This visit was with my family for our 40th wedding anniversary. Our Server Zach went above and beyond the normal outstanding service to make our night special. Cafe Monarch is just that good, remember excellence comes with a price tag and a dress code!

The food was incredible - every dish had a great combination of flavores and the menu choices were very diverse. We hadn't been to Cafe Monarch in a while and our prior experiences were always outstanding. This did not disappoint.
