Washington D.C.’s Cafe Citron in Dupont Circle that serves Latin food. It’s also a lounge where you can go to relax with friends and enjoy any number of specialty drinks and a nightclub for those who want to do some dancing. Every dish at Cafe Citron entails some combination of sweet, spicy and salty; this includes the drinks. The menu is inspired by traditional forms of Peruvian, Bolivian and Mexican dishes with influences from Europe and North America. Examples of the menu items at Cafe Citron include the lemon garlic flounder, island curry shrimp, sizzling fajitas and Peruvian lomo saltado. For dessert, try the fried banana cheesecake wrap or Spanish churros.

Guest must order food and drinks from table no direct Bar orders allowed. Guests must wear masks at arrival .Masks may be removed once seated. we provide private bathrooms and usage of sound system.We provide sanitizers and touchless menus. Guests may bring decorations. For large room $50 fee for usage of room $500 minimum spend food and drinks. Small room $300 minimum spend. we have platters /pitchers /bottle service/dessert platters champagne wine and more.

Excellent food, drink and amazing service. Our waitress Amena went beyond to celebrate our friends 50th bday. The manager and bar tender were courteous, addressed all our needs. Food was delicious, we tried lot of starters, empanadas, yucca fries and arapa's were very good. Nacho's was okay. Drinks were amazing good. Ambience is ok but the music and energy takes over everything else. Highly recommended.

Service was good. Music too loud. After certain hours the places becomes a nightclub and had we known that prior to seating we probably not stayed. It became too loud my friends and I could not hear each other and we felt rushed to eat so they could clear our table. My friends and I would of been okay if it was explained ahead of time about the changes in ambience. Food was great though.

Overall a great experience. Food and drinks are nice and authentic Latin American. Service was excellent and friendly with an Argentinian touch. Great ambiance for a fun dinner with adults and kids! Will do it again.

This place is quite deceptive. The setup for this restaurant is more of a bar, it’s small, narrow & to be optimistic intimate. If your expecting a intimate dinner, go earlier in the day, food is decent but prices are racy. Drinks are weak, margarita pitchers are full of sugar & drink mix then any tequila at all. The service isn’t really attentive, the vibe is really energetic. Young crowd, there’s better, more classier places to get Latin food, with great service. I guess this place will do for drinks & bar food with a Latin twist. But pretty meh at best
