Cafe Chula was created to bring the tastiest, most authentic Mexican food and drink to the heart of Camden Town. Our team of Mexican chefs have combined their talents and experience with the best, freshest ingredients to showcase the delightful and traditional food of Mexico. Chula is a place to meet new friends, and hang out with old. We are straightforward in our approach to an engaging and inspired experience, beginning with the initial welcome at the door and the delicious smell of home cooking that wafts from the kitchen. My friend found a great find with this one, a beautiful water view next to the window. The staff was amazing and went out of their way to make us feel welcome which was much appreciated as no restaurant compared to the service at cafe chula. Beautiful little restaurant/ bar hidden in Camden. Can’t wait to go again :)

Was fun, good service, good music! Would come here again for another date or with friends. Good value for the area. Food was quite spicy but was given free sour cream when I asked for some. Good cocktails!

We were visiting Camden for a concert and booked Café Chula from a Google search, we were not disappointed the restaurant had a really nice vibe , the staff were excellent and the food was really tasty and authentic. We would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great Mexican culinary experience.

The food options were limited. The cocktails are small, tasty, but not good value for money. The location is great. It was worth checking out, but there's better Mexican options in London.

Andreas was a great host who made the best out of a difficult situation. He was friendly and funny. The drinks were fabulous and the live music superb. However, Chula's sister venue upstairs, where we had to go for food (Lockside) was dreadful, with no redeeming features other than a pretty view over the canal.

We were up for tasty tacos in Camden, and couldn't have found a more perfect place! Nice located by the river, a colorfull enviroment, with a cool bar and superfriendly service! Quality tequila, and creative drinks after the meal, made this night a winner!

The service was good and the atmosphere great, but I wasn't very impressed with the food. It was quite bland and lacking in flavour. The menu was also much more limited than the one the Cafe Chula website and the range of vegetarian options was very poor.

Staff were lively! Worst Mexican I've had in London. Smallest portions. Shortest coctails with biggest ice cubes for £8. Therefore greedy owners. Sorry, never again. I'm sure tourists keep it going it's right in the middle of Camden market.

The food was great and the Chula Mula cocktail is a new favourite but the service is terrible. They were really slow to take orders or offer more drinks and the staff were really grumpy and disinterested. Wouldn't rush back.
