   We dined in a Cabana on a Friday night celebrating a bachelorette. We had a great experience. From the service to the food to the atmosphere, I give Cabana a 10/10!

   I’ve been in Nashville all my life, and used to go to Cabana when first opened, always was loving this place cause it gave a feel of a modern sleek vibe, not anymore…. So as many places were booked for Valentine’s Day, I was scrolling through restaurants for a nice place for a date and seen Cabana had openings I got excited. Well that changed as soon as I walked in, seems like most of the other bars now in Nashville, looked more rustic as we walked in, menu has changed due to the holiday which was fine but not like the old Cabana, my date wasn’t impressed off the first look, and neither was I , we left .. wanted a nice place for a romantic dinner and the only thing sexy was my date…

   Meal was cold, had to send it back. Cook came out to the table and complained that we had sent the food back.

   Hostes was wonderful let us come in 30 min early n wait at the bar. Staff was nice and friendly. Food was good. But my husband ordered a well done 8 Oz sirloin. It came out rare. yes they refired it but when it came back again it was med rare. I ended up eating my food and his. All he ate was the potatoes.

   I get that valentine's day is the big "prix fixe" scam of the year but I booked on OpenTable which is specifically supposed to have the "prix fixe" listed. Cabana didn't show as having one, it also made no mention of the special menu whatsoever on CABANA website (Which looks like it hasn't been updated since 2021 anyway).

   The front bar and restaurant are quiet and shady AF. The back bar and live music was amazing and very surprising. After walking through the front. It felt like an underground locals spot. The buffalo chicken dip and the corn dip were amazing. We had a a cabana table reserved for our group which was great until people started standing around and blocked our view. We would have stayed longer to listen to the musicians if we were able to see the performers. The singer/songwriter quality was pretty on point! Would definitely come back but would get a table by the stage.

   We had reservations for a friend’s birthday that were made weeks in advance. The hostesses (one of which was wearing headphones at the hostess stand listening to music) asked us to sit at the bar while they got our table ready (No one was even there!) then seated us at the worst table in the restaurant by the front window. We were so cold none of us took our coats off the whole time. The one good thing abt the night was that our nice waitress did a great job. But the ambiance was extremely lacking.

    My husband and I reserved a table at Cabana, not really knowing anything about the place. It was pretty much the only place with openings on short notice. When we walked into the restaurant, no one greeted us. We just had to kinda wander in to find someone. They told us to sit wherever we wanted. There was almost no one there. It was a strange experience. The food was barely above decent. The redeeming factor is that they were having some kind of open mic night, where musicians performed original songs one at a time in a round robin fashion. Most of the musicians were great!
