Bywater Brew Pub is a full-scale brewery, bar serving up a unique menu of gastropub fare, alongside a dozen taps of house-brewed beers. The space features a large open dining room with a brand new bar that gives a up close view of the brewery. Counter Service model, walk-ins welcomed! No need for a reservation.

Inside you'll find rotating artwork from local artists, many of whose studios are located right upstairs- on the second floor of a converted historic bottling factory. Located on Royal St. @ Montegut St. in the Bywater neighborhood of New Orleans, we love catering to our special local community, while welcoming visitors from near and far.

Limited menu 55 bucks for two burgers and two cocktails. Food was all that to me. I won’t be going back there

Trivia was great! Food and service were fantastic too. Definitely worth a visit if you like trivia and delicious wings.

Outstanding service from the moment we walked in. Cocktails were delicious…notably the Cucumber Margaritas! Brussels Sprouts…well, we had four orders. Several other apps were all five stars…the Spicy Carrot Slaw…money! All entrees were prepared with love & presented beautifully. All three desserts were devoured. Daniel was our flawless server with a great personality…we loved him! Would absolutely return!!!

Love the unique menu for a brew pub- not your typical ordinary offerings. Their menu has a Vietnamese twist to their offerings. The beer was also very good. Will be going back to try more of their beers and other entrees

Very nice venue with a friendly waiter and great food and beer. The only complaint was that the food was a bit cold when brought to our table.

We enjoy Bywater Brew Pub. Good food. Nice relaxed atmosphere. The owner is really connected to the neighborhood and supports our neighborhood organizations, which is greatly appreciated. Good folks here!!

What an amazing experience. A friend and I took my sister to Bywater Brew Pub for her birthday. From the moment we entered the restaurant until the time we left, the evening was enchanting. We were warmly greeted at the door by the owner and then seated. We arrived just before happy hour ended at 6:00pm so we were able to take advantage of the discounted prices. Who doesn't like that? The Grapefruit Dayz and Sonny Dayz beers were delicious as was the food. We shared the brussels sprouts and cracklin' appetizers. Then for dinner we had the yellow tofu curry and the PB&J Burger. Scrumptious. The servers were so fun and professional. There was also a wonderful quartet that included an accordion player that added to the lovely ambience. To top it all off, the owner then came to our table, as well as the other guests' tables, and asked how the experience was. It has been eons since any restaurant personnel has asked how a meal was. It was such a special evening. The next time we are in New Orleans we will definitely return.
