   Everything was delicious. One of our friends said the gluten free focaccia and pizza was the best she'd had. The fresh made pasta was excellent. Friendly service. We'll be back!

   Had a quick dinner on Thursday night. Service was great. We haven't been here in a while, husband had a lasagna which he said used to be better than the current recipe. I had clam linguine and it was very good!

   Generally everything was good, the food is more authentic which some people will really appreciate. Outdoor and indoor seating is available which is also a plus. The downside was that the Open Table app allowed us to schedule a reservation for eight people during a time when they close down the kitchen before they start their dinner hours. Consequently we enjoyed a meal but were not able to order dessert, and we were the only ones in the restaurant. We would suggest that those hours not be listed as an option for reservations. Will we go back? Yes, we will go back, but preferably when the kitchen is open for the entire meal.

   Food was just ok. Calamari was a bit undercooked and the pasta dishes were a little bland. I won’t go back.

   Service was slow even though they weren't that busy at 5:30 pm. Food was mediocre - even though they said an "entree," there was no vegetables, salad included.

   Our experience in this location was not as good as the Encinitas location. The calamari appetizer was very good, one of the 2 pizza dishes disappointed. Very different vibe by comparison.

   We just moved back to San Diego and we are enjoying lunch escapes for a week if celebrating our 48 years of marriage. Our escape to Buona Forchetta created another forever memory for us --- wonderful server who was exceptionally attentive and terrific food. What a beautiful customer service "over the top" idea to provide a dessert to share to acknowledge our celebration! We count Buona Forchetta as a great place to enjoy with our loved ones whenever we want to slow the world down and enjoy a terrific customer experience!

   My husband and I met some longtime friends for dinner and we sat outside for dinner and we had a lovely dinner. It was a bit of chilly nite but we had a heat lamp next to us so we were nice and cozy. We were seated right away and the waitress greeted us and was very attentive throughout the evening. We had some nice wine and h2 appetizers ( calamari and bruschetta which were delish) and both couples each shared a salad and an entree. Our friends ordered the beet salad and a pizza and hubs and I had the pear salad and a calzone . We all enjoyed our food. Excellent service and food was great!! Thank you!!

   We tried Buona Fourchetta San Marcos for the 1st time and loved it. Its tucked away near an apartment and shopping complex so it was a little odd to find at first. The food was great and the service was excellent!

    Great overall experience. Food is excellent with great service. Parking is challenging.
