   Really really disappointed with Bumpkin. I am a huge fan of the show, and have supported the owners business ventures over the years including their bars in London, and preordering the cookbook a few years back. I finally made it to London and Bumpkin was one of the top on my lists. I knew going in this was a pub with traditional style British food, but our experience was awful. First, the waitstaff was unfriendly (other than the manager) and not attentive at all. We made a reservation after being told it got crowded for Sunday Roast, and we walked in with only three other tables occupied. We ordered a wine and a vodka tonic and it took nearly twenty minutes to receive them. Our food took even longer. The atmosphere was dull and dated. It isn’t a trendy modern spot, and I knew this, but boy did the show make it look way nicer on TV. The seat cushions were all ripped on the booth seats. The servers were wearing shorts and crop tops, it just looked unprofessional. The food was OK at best. The potatoes were hard, the meat was so fatty there was basically no real meat, and the veg was just ok. I would sadly never return. Had super high expectations as the owners claim to be some of the most “well known restauranteurs in the world”.

   Always the nicest fish and chips in the area . We will keep coming back

   Just too over priced for fish and chips.not good at all. I suppose because of the location that makes the cost so high but just not good at all.

   We had very nice homey food, the fish and chips and the burger were exactly how we like it

   Just love this place! Every time we come to London we try to visit the Bumpkin because we know that we will get a wonderful relaxed atmosphere and a just Fantastic dining experience! Great service and drinks combined with premium pub dining...Bumpkin hasn’t let me down yet and Remains one of our favorite places!

   The food was lovely we both had the Sunday roast only thing wrong it was barely warm instead of hot would have made such a difference

   It was very nice. Perfekt service, our 'man' was very service mainded. He gave a very good service. Nice food. We have been there several Times and can recommend it.

   We went for Sunday roast and got the roast beef and sticky toffee pudding. Everything was fantastic! It was a nice day so we ate outside. Not too busy of a corner, quite nice. I'd certainly go again!

    Unfortunately the waiter didn’t understand much English and this caused confusion on two occasions asking very simple questions. Nice manner however that’s not enough when you’ve questions about the food! Toilets pretty grubby and food was ok.
