Bull Bay Caribbean Cuisine is a restaurant with a mission to serve an array of clients and provide them with an authentic Caribbean eating experience. On a typical day, guests enjoy their freshly prepared dishes and drinks to smooth reggae music playing in the background. Some of our clients' favorite entrees are the Salmon Rundown which comes with rice & peas as well as our jerk chicken and oxtail. Our shrimp & grits is a brunch favorite and at the bar, our signature Blue Bay Punch which is a twist on the traditional Rum Punch.

We arrived 10mins b4 our reservation and walked into a empty restaurant...then a young man came and asked were we there for the Baby Shower. Needless to say we left. Note: prior to making reservations with opentable , my wife and I tried calling several times, but to no avail No Answer. This place has no professionalism whatsoever.

We arrived at the restaurant after confirming reservations and they were closed. Please update Open Table so the others are aware. We tried unsuccessfully to reach the restaurant to no avail. Very disappointing and frustrating!

Food was very good, although the server was either uninterested or unable to explain several menu items to us and they did not have several items on the menu. There were two other tables with guests when we sat down. Despite that, service was inattentive- probably because the three people working the floor were on their cell phones the whole time (not sure the bartender ever looked up). Drinks (we ordered their special punch and another fruity concoction) were sickly sweet and we chose not to drink them (literally a first). We had the chicken curry and shrimp with pepper. Both were good, and portions were huge. The mac and cheese was also good, but very smokey and clearly not vegetarian. Not sure what vibe they were going for but the decor was dance club meets ocean meets banquet hall. Overall, good food at an otherwise odd place.

When we walked into the restaurant the hostess was on the phone. She continued to have a phone conversation while she sat us at a table and told us to “hold a minute.” The host went to clean the next table, walked to the kitchen and back to the host stand when she finally got off of her phone. At the host stand she began to talk to a friend about a party happening soon. When the host finally came back to the table she took our drinks (it took about 5-10 min for water). When the host came back with our other drinks we began to order and she told me to hold on. She yelled across to the bar and said, “what don’t we have today?” We left afterward and we will not be returning.

Beautiful, upscale restaurant with delicious authentic Jamaican cuisine. Great Caribbean band made the evening a lot of fun!

The food was excellent!! I was however disappointed that it was very empty for a Saturday evening. It was also very very cold in the restaurant. Other than that I enjoyed my visit and will definitely be back.
