We had a great time. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and when we asked for recommendations on food he gave great choices....the place is very lively and would go back to see the live show. Food was excellent and dessert was delicious.

This was our first visit to the Ashland Avenue location. The food was excellent. The service was friendly and warm The bathroom was trashed. The faucet was disconnected and loose. Someone had spilled a liquid on the stairs going down to the bathrooms and the floor had standing water.

Would have rated higher on value if not for the service being so slow. However, the food is great. Highly recommend the datiles, the queso cabra, and the filet. Pass on the mussels.

This reservation was for a XMAS dinner. It took over 10 minutes to be greeted after arriving on time. Apparently there was only 1 person working the dining room and bar area. We asked to be seated for our 5pm reservation and were told the dining room was full and the only available tables were high tops next to the bar. I said we were not interested in a high top table as we had an elder dining with us that could not sit at a bar stool plus this was not appropriate for a Xmas dinner especially since we had pre reserved a 5pm seating. We were then told that it would be a 1 hour wait if we wanted a standard table. The server did apologize however this was totally unacceptable. We had pre reserved a table and were told one was not available when we arrived. Obviously, they had given them away to other customers. We left and decided to try and reserve a table somewhere else but encountered a second problem. A new reservation could not be made because our original reservation had not been cancelled by the server. We even called back and asked specifically for it be canceled from the system. It was never done. We will never ever return to dine at this establishment again.

The restaurant seating was choppy. We sat upstairs where there were four tables and it was incredibly loud. I would not tag the noise level as “energetic”. To loud to converse.

Recommended for a casual night with friends, especially when the weather is nice outside, it's a comfortable noise level where one can converse without having to shout. Food is fine - a couple of items (roast chicken, mushrooms) were really great. Decent wines. Not the best for kids, unless you can sit outside, but great for a night catching up with friends.

It was a slow Thursday night with just us and another table. The wine I wanted from the menu was not available. The one suggested was a suitable replacement. The food menu had the classic tapas selections and did not disappoint. The only real problem was the service as it tended to disappear for stretches. Overall the place was good but I wanted it to be better
