Much larger restaurant than expected. Nice servers helpful and pleasant. Not sure of name of dish but was scrambled eggs spiced on a type of sourdough with some black olives. I liked it - not mind blowing and def not presented the best but nice. My friend got halumi with hers and it was deep fried we think. This made it greasy and honestly we didn’t feel that method complimented what is normally a delicious cheese. Dishes maybe could be a tad hotter also. Overall nice experience but not sure am running back.

As others have said, service was slow and food came out cold. It also took almost 30min to get 2 mimosas.

We had booked for a celebration and we were seated at different tables which we were disappointed about. Our food then came half an hour apart at each table so some of us were finished before others had even gotten food. The food was average, wouldn’t recommend the French toast and the salads are nice but not worth it for price. The mimosas were very nice. I am sure the experience would’ve been better if it was a quieter day but as it was a special occasion we were not very impressed.

We never got to eat here because despite the fact that we had a reservation booked a week in advance we were not seated even 25 minutes after we arrived. The host kept seating walk ins ahead of us despite the fact that we had a booking. We had somewhere we needed to go after lunch so decided to go somewhere else so we wouldn't be late. It was very poorly managed and many people in the queue were angry and confused as to why they weren't being seated despite having a reservation.

Hi and thanks for your feedback. We are so sorry if there were issues when you arrived. On that morning, the City was shut down due to the Mini Marathon taking place - as a result, though we had a very large number of bookings for mid morning (due to it being Mother's Day), a huge number of these arrived very late due to there being no transportation available - as a result, people were arriving very late (for their earlier bookings) at the same time as people arriving on time for subsequent bookings, causing an unprecedented congestion. This was completely outside of our control and it did take some time to resolve (we do know that several other restaurants had the same issue that day). We've never had an issue like this arise before and we are truly sorry for the impact it caused.

Had a nice experience at Brother Hubbard North this weekend. Food was good and the atmosphere is nice, well decorated, not too loud. Overall very good experience. I had a large enough group of people who wanted to get together for brunch, but couldn’t find many places in the city that would take reservations - so would definitely recommend.

Really sad that this didn't end up being a great experience. The food was tasty and could tell it was quality ingredients, however it wasn't hot at all. I think it had been left for a little while before being brought to us as the shakshuka had caused the bread to be soggy underneath. My husband's sandwich was dry where it had been left as well. The toilets were awful, bearing in mind our booking was at 0930am. Hygiene bins overflowing and dirty toilets. Disappointed 😞

Waiting 45 minutes for food. Just a little too long with kids, sorry. Waitress was lovely though and food was tasty.
