   I had reservations at 11pm and even paid the $95 deposit for 2 people. We get there and was not allowed to enter until after 12 midnight. After getting inside we didn’t get seated until 1230am! They allowed all “the people they knew” to enter before us. I was so upset. After traveling all the way from Mississippi to get an experience it was a disaster. Jagged Edge didn’t even perform they did a walk thru. We ended up leaving at like 3am. I asked the young lady that was at the inside door could I sit on the couch while waiting for my table and she said “no mam” but shortly afterwards “someone she knew” walked up and was talking to her and just sat down. It was definitely NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE. On top of that she said “we don’t have anymore tables so you can pay $50 for 2 drinks or leave”. The food we ordered was decent but the service was horrible. It’s messed up yall don’t allow paying customers to get what they paid for.

   We had a 7:30 pm reservation but we arrived at 7:05 pm. The hostess was able to seat us early. There were so many items in the menu I wanted to try so it was hard choosing. I decided on the mushroom soup w chicken, ceaser salad and filet mignon. My guest had dumplings and the pork chop. Our sides were asparagus and shrimp fried rice. Service was excellent the food and drinks were superb. We had enough extra food for two more meals!

   Came to the Brooklyn Chop House in Times Square to celebrate my 40th birthday and because we were going to see Six that night. Our reservation was at 5:15 and we didn’t sit down until almost 5:30 when there was hardly anyone in the restaurant yet. We were asked what kind of water we would like which they did bring us but they did not refill our glasses until close to the end of the meal when we asked. Our server ensured us we had plenty of time for our 7:00 show but we still ordered the small plates and sides to be sure. We had the Spare Ribs and Rock Shrimp. They were both good but the Shrimp was amazing and our favorite things of the night. We ordered as sides the wild mushrooms, wok fried onions and Broccoli and Garlic. The Mushrooms were great, they had a great jus that they came with. The grilled onions were fine had a slight smiley flavor to them. The broccoli was just broccoli. It was supposed to be with garlic but had not flavor at all. We ordered two drinks that were ok but not worth it. When I made the reservation because it was to celebrate my 40th birthday, I requested a candle on my dessert. We ordered the apple wontons which tasted liked canned apple pie filling with grainy vanilla ice cream. No candle or wish of happy birthday except from the hostess who asked whose birthday it was when I walked in. The table next to us and another table in the room both had sparklers and Happy Birthday sang to them. The restaurant looked nice but they had loud pounding hip hop playing the whole time. I had to plug my ears a few times. Needless to say I was disappointed in my birthday dinner.
