   Whilst in a good location, unfortunately this place is let down by service. Too many staff not paying enough attention to their customers. Far too many requests for the same thing. Food took ages to come and was average at best. Avoid the steak tartare as the chef should a lessons in preparation, seasoning and presentation. The staff were very quick to remind us of our time limit on our table however. I was looking forward to this but total was a disappointment.

   Unfortunately we were not allowed to sit at a table we chose as it was reserved, it was empty while we ate & it was only used just minutes before we left! Instead we sat on a bench, which I dont like, we were very close to other tables. food was ok but beef was very rare with blood swimming on my plate, we had to ask for Yorkshire puddings as they were not served with our Roast beef lunch?! Quite disappointed with the whole experience so will try one of the many other choices next time.

   Even though the food is well presented and good, the service is quite poor. The waitress and the manager get lost easily and don't pay too much attention to the clients needs. That's a shame for such a nice restaurant and ambiance.

   We felt immediately at home and were looked after while we sorted our various bags and luggage. We were not made to feel a bother. The menu was clear and not over fussy with too many things to choose from but catered for every conceivable taste or diet. When the food arrived it was to die for. I really resent paying for food that I can cook better myself and I love to cook, so it was gratifying to eat something quite deliciously delicious. We all decided we have to go back. For me it is to have the same hake again. I just want to savour each mouthful once more before perhaps trying something else!

   This was the second time I have had lunch at Brook House and can report that a mediocre pub has been transformed into a superb restaurant. The venison pie was beyond superb.

   We had the most enjoyable evening there, the food is delicious and the staff were attentive and friendly. It’s the best food I have had in London, thank you so much! Will recommend it to all my friends.

    First class again.(my second visit in under a week) I’ll be coming here now before every Fulham FC home fixture... Love everything about it!!... The perfect pre-match pit stop .
