   great atmosphere grilled avocado was small and hard disappointing but the tempura string beans and chicken sandwich were great>>>

   My guests and I dined at Brix. We’ve been here many times over the past decades but this is first time we were disappointed. Don’t like the decor change at all. Loved the prior open kitchen concept and wine store in front room. Those are gone. Gardens beautiful to walk through but food not as good as we remember. My guest that had the fried chicken like it (very large portion). The other guest thought her steak was ok. My wife and I shared the scallops. To me the dish was too sour tasting. Favorite bit was the tempera beans. Service was slow even though server nice.

   Delicious. The lobster deviled eggs and French dip were incredible. Beautiful setting and great service.

   Service was prompt and professional. Dynise was our server and she was very knowledgeable about all the menu items. She exuded positive energy, and paced our meal nicely. Food was great. It was a slow night so the restaurant wasn’t full. We had a very nice dinner and will certainly return.

   First time here as we were visit from Texas. If you ever in the Napa area this restaurant is a must. Everything is spot on and it’s a great experience.

   If this had been our first visit to Brix we wouldn’t go back. We usually like to sit on the patio but decided to sit inside this time. Server was nice but very slow. We weren’t in a rush but it took almost 20 minutes just to get a glass of wine. 2 at our table ordered the prime rib and said it was ok. Not fantastic but ok. I ordered the fried chicken and it wasn’t great. It was lukewarm by the time I got it. Dessert was good. Not sure if we will be back. Unless maybe to have a glass of wine in the gardens which are truly beautiful.

   The food was not seasoned. The fried chicken was dry. For the price the food was not worth it. The atmosphere is nice but we felt the restaurant was trying to push us to spend money. Go to the bar because ur table isn’t ready. Yet the table they gave was ready from the time we walked in. We said we didn’t want dessert, just the check. Yet the dessert menus were brought and we had to request the check again. We wouldn’t revisit based on the food, just not worth the money.

   We found this gem of a restaurant last year for Mothers Day and have been back several times to share with family and friends.

   The venue is always lovely, and we enjoyed being outside. We choose Brix because we thought we would be enjoying Easter brunch items. It was on the website with a brunch menu when we booked. Once we sat down, we were told brunch service was discontinued 3 weeks before. Yet it is still listed on the website. It would have been nice to have a few more breakfast items for Easter. Several from our table had the burger and said it was delicious. The salad had no dressing, and I had to ask for it. The ravioli was just okay a bit overcooked. We had two starters, Avocado with toasts points and Crab Fondue, both were very good.

    My mother and I met in Napa for Easter this year and decided to do brunch at Brix and it was amazing. It was so beautiful, the service was great, and food was amazing. 10/10 would recommend.
