My friend and I were in town to visit Drexel and decided to check this place out. We loved everything about the place, except for the food which was just okay. It's possible they were just having an off night and we'd be willing to try this place again. My friend ordered a salad which she thought was okay and I had the chicken and waffles. She ordered a beer and I got a glass of wine which our waiter helped me pick out (thank you!) The chicken was great although I would have liked to have been given bigger pieces. The waffle wasn't cooked all the way through so I asked for another one which the waiter (who was awesome) graciously brought out another one. That one was, unfortunately, the same way so the waiter ended up crediting me my meal (again, thank you!). We wish the food would have been great, but overall we were still pleased with this place and would give it another try :)

Very limited bar selection and the only whiskey is Jamison. I like Canadian whiskey chilled and neat. No Pinot Grigio! I complimented them on the best Jamison and ginger I have ever had. I ordered a 2nd one but the bartender made it way too strong. I could not drink it. Our burgers were missing items that we ordered (bacon and fried egg) but were tasty. We realized 1/2 way thru the meal the wait staff switched our food. We were eating each other burgers he likes his well done and I like it pink but it was too late to switch back.

I like this place and I hope it does well, regardless of it's kind of odd location. There was a large party in the back, but then we were practically the only other people there, so that contributed to an strange atmosphere. The AC was blasting, so we asked to be moved, which the waiter did quickly and without question. Chicken sandwich and mussels were good. Sangria liter and the Paloma were great! I would return!

We loved our visit to B&M. We were seeing a show up the street at Union Transfer, and B&M was not far, so we started with dinner here. We were welcomed warmly and enthusiastically, our server was funny, attentive, and informative, we loved the cool decor!, and the food was excellent. I will be returning - this was a great spot for delicious dinner, great cocktails, and a bunch of girlfriends yapping it up.

For tourists, the restaurant is out of the way, and visitors might have concerns about the neighborhood in the evening.

Snacks and drinks were excellent - the calamari and cheesesteak spring rolls are fantastic. I highly recommend the steak frites. The brisket is a little dry but worth getting for the sides and sauce. Will definitely be back to try the lobster nachos.

Great find for a business dinner. It was not noisy like most in the city. Great versatile menu.

The food was uneven - the service - too slow, the owner - engaging; I would go back.
