Visit the world’s first LEED certified microbrewery housed in a refurbished historic funeral home in the East Hills neighborhood. Live the Bon Vivant with neighbors, brewers, and monk members alike enjoying rustic Euro-inspired beers alongside locally sourced food from our scratch-kitchen.

Join us for a craft beer and lunch with friends or bring the work team down for dinner. You will find our menu to be paired down while we adjust to our new requirements and get a better feel for what our guests are most craving. Groups are limited to no more than 10 at this time per the Executive Order and all guests are asked to wear a mask when not seated.

I really enjoyed my experience! They have a great system where you put up a card to signal to any staff member that you need assistance. It gives you privacy and immediate attention when needed. The food and beer was unique and delicious. The atmosphere was very welcoming and comforting. I would definitely recommend!

We loved this place! It was on our Brewsader app list. The ambience of the refurbished funeral home turned brewery was really cool and the pretzel loaf and cheese was delicious! The staff was very helpful and friendly. We will be back! Definitely recommend stopping here if in Grand Rapids!

Excellent food (we had the poutine, Monk salad, veggie burger and spicy chicken sandwich) and always top-notch beer!

The staff was friendly and accommodating, the food was excellent, and the atmosphere was cozy. Everyone in my group had a great time!

The steak frites last night were fantastic! We had been deciding between Brewery Vivant and a new, pricier steak restaurant in town. I'm glad we chose Vivant!

We always enjoys our evenings at B.V. Superb Belgian style beer, good conversation and excellent service. Our server, Andrew, has been with the brewery a number of years and always seems happy to see. He's an excellent server and anticipates our wants before we ask. The noise level in the reverberant main room can get a bit loud, making conversation a bit challenging at times. But all in all, we had a lovely visit and will be back again next week.

The staff was wonderful to accommodate a party of 10 on a Saturday evening, easy to split the checks and drinks were wonderful! Will come back- Nashville TN
